were out in Force + also Got ThereMoneys Worth Nibbling away at everyone all Night

Heb Plant/John Maciver Cranes HIAL Drag Racing 21st July
After weeks off Hot Dry weather the Rain Finally came back with a Vengance on the Sat nite a Hr brfore the Racing Started
Plus Points of a Good Downpour – It Helped wash all the Rust +Debris away + Stops Punctures! Once the Rust was all Cleared + And the Toys were Picked up The Racing Commenced,24 Hardy Drivers + Plenty Keen Spectators had a Excellent Nites Fun Racing in the Wet rather than Sulking at home Over something as Petty as a wee bit of Drizzle
Duncan Pirie in the cracking 3ltr Ford Capri + Iain Rose in the Spotless Mk1 Golf Gti travelled all way over from the Mainland for the Event + both Ran good strong Consisent times all nite + Thoroughly enjoyed themselves,Well done on a Great effort to come Over Gents
The Shonnies Handyman Services Sponsored Sierra of Norrie Macdonald was beat on the Nite by the Ians Home + Gardens Sponsored BMW 320,Norrie was Close on Daves back end all way up but just couldnt slip in front,Maybe with New Rubber Fitted Norrie will have him next time Round,LinkMap Performance had a Fleet of Linkmap tuned Cars Competing + they all put in Very good runs Considering the lack of Grip Available on the Nite,Linky took Fastest Time in all 5 Runs as usual in the Linkmap Built Imprezza which was Struggling to Put the Power Down in the Damp,Sean Mackenzie was 2nd Quickest in his Mint P1 + Iain Maclean 3rd in His Cavalier,Iain Nicholson finished a Very credible 4th in the Impreza,Lee Woodard was 5th Quickest on the Nite in the Skoda + Dan pitt 6th in the Saab,Flaggs Anglia put in a Good few runs on the Nite Sparring With Andy White in the Clio,Poor Gavin had to Pull out Due to Traction + Vision Problems in the wet with the Powerhouse of a Beetle as his Vision out the Beetle was a little restricted while sidways at a ton!

The Day of Heb Rally all Marshalls will be issued with Officals Marshalls Wristbands so coming along in a Hi Viz Jacket claiming to be Marshall wont get you in for free,Considering all the Money goes to charity it a Very Sad trick to Pull to Save a few Quid
All Lewis Car Club Members + Non Members are advised The Sat Nite Evening Meal in Eleven is now ticket only so please Dont turn up for the Meal without a Offical Ticket Or claim youve Lost it etc as all Tickets/Names will be Checked against offical list by the Doormen + Refusal of Entry sometimes offends,As the Advert says “If your names no down u aint getting in”We would Love to be able to Invite Everyone but due to the Size of Heb Rally now there isnt a Venue big Enough for Everyone
